Sibu Jaya Township
Sibu Jaya is a self-contained mixed development township located only 1 km from Sibu Airport, in the state of Sarawak. Strategically positioned along the Pan-Borneo Highway (the 2,083 km highway which spans from the western end of Sarawak to the border with Kalimantan that passes through Sibu), Sibu Jaya has become the transit point for many long distance travellers. Following the completion of the Durin Bridge and upgrade of the Highway, travellers can easily access surrounding towns such as Kapit, Kanowit, Song, Julau, Ngemah, Bintangor and Sarikei via Sibu Jaya.     


Sibu Jaya

Sibu Jaya is a joint development between Amprop and Sarawak government agency, the Housing Development Corporation. The replanning of the township won Sibu Jaya its prestigious Judges’ Merit in Planning Excellence Award (under Community Development – Planning Achievement category) at a national-level competition organised by the Malaysian Institute of Planners.

Besides full self-contained convenience, there is also an incomparable park ambience to promote better work productively. Spanning across a massive 1,400 acres, some of the properties being developed include residential homes, shop houses, industrial buildings, and public amenities such as schools, a 9.3 ha Central Green Lung, a 16 ha Green Belt stretching up to 3.6 km within the residential components.

Another significant amenity is no doubt Sibu Jaya’s Main Boulevard. Hailed as one of Malaysia’s most impressive boulevards – this two kilometre scenic stretch serves as an iconic gateway into this growing suburban community.


Pearl Avenue

    The entire Sibu Jaya development is expected to be completed by 2023. Upon its full completion, Sibu Jaya will house a population of approximately 50,000 people.
