SIBU: SibuJaya master developer Distrepark Sdn Bhd came a-calling to the local branch of Lembaga Kebajikan Anak Anak Yatim Sarawak (Peryatim) with Raya goodies.
This year, Distrepark worked with Doremon Supermarket in SibuJaya to donate food items to the underprivileged children.
Distrepark senior executive Agatha Ting said the business community in SibuJaya had been very responsive to charitable events.
“From blood donation to sharing festive joy with underprivileged children, we are always assured of their support,” she said.
On hand to receive the Raya goodies was Najilanisa Suhaili, who manages the centre.
She said the centre required all the assistance it could get and was heartened to see the developer stepping up to help again this year.
