RM2 Million Donation For Expansion Of Masjid Al-Istiqamah
18 April 2018

Amcorp Properties Berhad (Amprop) donated RM2 million towards the expansion of Masjid Al-Istiqamah located in Kayangan Heights, Shah Alam.

The sum is used to expand the ‘ruang solat’ (place for prayers) and dining hall facilities, increasing its capacity to accommodate 1,000 people. The renovation works are expected to be completed by mid-2018.

This is the third time the Group has extended its helping hand to the mosque.  Back in 2007, the developer of Kayangan Heights, Amcorp Prima Realty Sdn Bhd (AMPR), donated RM1.4 million for the construction of the mosque.  In 2011, AMPR again donated RM30,000 to ease the daily operational and maintenance cost of the mosque as well as to fund the numerous activities to be organized by the caretakers of the mosque such as the Hari Raya Gathering.

Masjid Al-Istiqamah is a place of worship for the Muslim community around Kayangan Heights. The mosque has done commendable work for the Muslim community of Kayangan Heights and its surrounding areas since its inception in year 2007 through its many charitable drives.

Kayangan Heights is a premium residential development by Amprop, located within the fast-growing enclave of Section U9, Shah Alam in Selangor, Malaysia. It was awarded the Excellence Award by the Institute of Landscape Architects Malaysia (ILAM) under the Property Developer Awards in Landscape Planning & Development Category.
